Really, I think I'm back...

Lake family last posted over three months ago!  Pathetic, I know.  But when I think about the last three months, I'm not too mad at myself.  I've been hanging onto the the very end of my rope and I haven't let go!  That's a good thing.  I want this record of our family for my kids.  I LOVE coming into the room and finding them all crowded around the computer to see our last post.  (They haven't done that in a while!)  When they leave home, I want them to have a place to go home to quickly.  I love our memories and I'm so grateful to know that they are our's forever.  So here I go again.  I will start where I left off and try to catch up to where we are before Christmas.  It has been a wild ride that the Lake family has been on.  But a wild ride with the people I love most is better than no ride at all.

Going back to June....Kids were still in school, soccer was wrapping up, weather was awesome, and I was a crazy lady trying to pack up the house we had lived in for 8 years.  Through it all, I have HER by my side.  Funny, crazy, beautiful Brielle.  She cares so deeply about this family.  I have some really sweet stories to tell.  She saves me.  She fills me with great desire to be better in every way.  I don't know how she does it, but she does.  One thing you should know about Brielle is that she loves to sing and dance.  Belt-it-out sing and take-up-the-entire-room dance.  It's awesome.  Adele is her girl.  If Brielle were fully clothed, I'd have some awesome video clips to share.  Anyway, I love her.  Truly, madly, deeply.  I tell her all the time that I don't know what I'd ever do without her.  And I mean it.
