Blueberries, Strawberries and Matt

Every summer, we pick as many berries as possible and then freeze them. Some of my family members are more enthusiastic about the job than others! But hopefully, because it's a tradition, it will be a memory, too. The best thing about picking is the amount of snacking you can do along the way. I'm pretty sure we should have weighed Brielle before AND after strawberry picking. She had to have eaten at least a pound! I'm so grateful for such delicious, healthy, abundant food. Seriously, Someone really does watch over us and take care of us. Coley took the camera while we were blueberry picking. I think I'll give that creative little boy the camera more often!
I had to include Matt Stranski with this post because he's one of our favorite people. He just returned home from his mission. He wrote us the sweetest letters while he was away and he came to our home to share all of his pictures and stories one night for Family Home Evening. I don't think anyone in NY has had a better influence on our family than this great guy. He really means a lot to our family.

Looks like you are in full swing of summer! I love you and your beautiful family and the way you love them. It's so inspiring, Michele. Any plans to come to Utah this year? I would love to see you even for 5 min!
