I always dread the first day of school and celebrate the last day. It's hard for me to let go. Maybe being a mother isn't the best thing for me to be--I'm learning that it's all about letting go and letting them choose. Anyway, they're happy and that makes me happy. Jaden and McKenna are at the Middle School together. Cole is in the second grade! Seeing Garner and Cole hug goodbye didn't help the lump in my throat.
