November 2013

November is one of my favorite months.  Thanksgiving always means family and Christmas is still ahead of us, not behind us.  McKenna had a big dance with all of her friends and Brielle potty trained Channing.  Yes, BRIELLE.  She was a champ.  Asking Channing every hour if he needed to use his cute little toilet and rewarding him with smarties and marshmallows.  All I did was wipe.  No kidding.  Jaden came home from BYU for Thanksgiving and we had the sweetest weekend, all of us together.  A sweet friend snapped some photos while we were all together.  I love this crazy, sweet family!

October 2013

October is birthday month at our house!  Brielley turned 5 and broke my heart with the declaration that she gets to start school.  Jaden turned 19 and broke my heart by leaving for college.  I'm a selfish, selfish person.  Just want to keep them bottled up and all to myself.  Jaden left a huge hole in our family, being gone.  Never knew we'd miss him so terribly!  We made quite a few trips down to Provo to see our boy.  Conveniently, Cole had a basketball tournament in SLC and we couldn't miss his birthday!  My sweet Grandpa Rigby gave Jaden his Patriarchal Blessing, a day we'll never forget.  Cole and McKenna ran cross country and we had a wonderful visit from Brian's Mom!  Of course, October is Halloween month, too.  I'm just glad that McKenna came up with such a great costume.
